Default Engine will not go over 2500rpms

I have a 2003 350z.I was driving it and the CEL came on.I had code checked and it was Code 442:Evaporative Emissions(EVAP)Control System,Small Leak Detected. So before I could try to figure out the problem, the following day all of a sudden it would not go to or past 2500 rpms.I assume this is the limp mode.I am going to check again to see if there are anymore codes. Will this code cause these symptoms? Any advice on my problem will be appreciated.

Evap leak can be as simple as loose gas cap or a cracked hose in the fuel vapor recycle or a failure of the recirc valve.
