Default FRONT WHEELS Noise Problem

i have a 2003 touring.
I changed my rims 2 weeks ago but recently started to hear a noise coming from the front two wheels. its a swishing sound that comes with each tire rotation. I'm not sure if its the brakes or what.
any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Does it sound like metal-on-metal? Like a light scrape? Could be your brakes but it's odd that would pop up due to changing your wheels.

Are the wheels or brakes aftermarket? And if so, is there ample clearance between the brake caliper and the wheel balance weights stuck to the inner barrel of the wheel?

Was the sound all of a sudden, or did it progressively get worse over time?

It might be the bearings possibly, but bring it to your local shop and see what they have to say.

the wheels are aftermarket but im still on the first set of OEM brakes. it doesnt really sound like a scraping sound or metal-on-metal. im deffinitely going to check the wheel balance weights now.
Thanks

i just realized the noise so im not sure if it is getting worse. based on my research it doesnt seem like its the bearings. i will probably go to a shop soon but i just want to know what sort of direction to point the mechanics to (not too many good car shops here in FLint, MI)

Off-topic, but that seems rather ironic, doesn't it?

Does the noise vary with speed ?
Does the noise change when you apply the brakes?
Does it happen on both acceleration and deceleration?

i think the noise becomes more frequent as i speed but i cant tell too much because the car gets to windy and noisy. the brakes are starting to get worn out and squeek under pressure but i dont think the noise changes. and it happens in both.

Did you remove the little bolt that prevents you from putting the stock rear wheels on the front?

Possibly the shop hit the dust shield when putting the wheels on, enough where it barely makes contact?

could it possibly be that with the wider rims messed up the cars alignment and its just my tires making the noise?

not really ironic. horrible economy and low income leads to a lack of nicer cars on the roads and thus limiting the amount of business a good car shop could get. i would have to go to detroit to get any really big install done

Very possible, very possible your alignment was bad before.

hmm... i ****ed one of my rims up and got a new one.. put it on and got noise like you are saying as well.. when i rode on the donut no noise but when i put this brand new rim on thats when i noticed the noise ..

It was pitch black at night and no lights and i hit a curb going like 40+... dented the rim but seems like i might of done more damage than that...im thinking bearing or other suspension parts. maybe alignment
