i was wondering if any one had any advice for storing a car long term and by that i mean 10+ years. I have been reading around and have been getting some mixed advice on how to go about this. Should i fill gas tank and add Sta-Bil or should i only put an 1/8 tank of gas in and add Sta-bil. Also how often do you reccomend starting the car to make sure nothing drys out, i was thinking 3-4 months. any advice would be great thanks.
You should put a little more than 1/8 a tank of gas because in 10+ years, you'll look back at the $4+/gallon premium and be like hot damn gas was cheap!
i have no knowledge to help but im curious what car and why
it obvious he's waiting for machines to become self aware and start a war against the human race, or the mayan dooms day phrophecy, maybe even a zombie apocalypse?
Talking about starting the car every 3/4 months means you are not going up into Space. (NASA). So why not take it for a spin every 3/4 months, run out the gas and fill up?

I'm going to guess why you would want to store a car for 10 years. Jail? Be real dude, leaving gas in the car would screw it up for 10 years, throw it in a heated garage with no gas if your really serious about this
