Really need some Z guru help :(
here is my story 03 350z manual touring- note that this does not happen all the time but when i take my car out and floor it it will hit about 5000rpm and just loose all power cutting out and make the car jerky ( only when i floor it, if i just let the rpms ride up to 5000 no problem) this happened again last night and this time when it happened i didnt let off i tried to keep pushing it hoping it would either clear its self or set a code but that was not the case car just shut right off/died i pulled over and started it again
also a few weeks ago i had another problem where as soon as i started the car it would start up then die after 3-5 sec not sure if its related but could be
i have no codes being set no slip light or any thing, i tried cleaning the MAF to see if it would help but no luck
where do i turn from here
?
Thanks in advance!

oh just wondering. because a couple times after i've washed my car i'll get on it and it will lose power for like half a second at 3500 - 4000 rpms, then jerk and gain power again. kinda weird but apparently it was just some water that got into the filter..
