Default Water in headlights... Help :(

My friend has an 05 Z and water got into one of his headlights. Should it be replaced or is there something else I can do without having to buy a new one? Do you guys have any idea why this could have happened? He has no fenders, could water have gotten in from that area?

Thanks guys.

Fender liners out? Probably smashed the back covers. Happened to me.

Take off the front bumper, remove the headlight, open up the big seal pictured above, remove bulbs and blow dry. Once dry, put back together. Done.

No fender liners??? I think there's a reason why they make them for the car.

^^ correct, day one w no fender liners for me was a rainy day, and there they went.. nice n full of water..

the lights are not fully sealed, and the vent snorkel is pointed right at the wheel on the back of the light.. no fender liner equals soaked lights period.
