Default z hatch alignment off

ok, so I just bought a 2003 350z that has been in a small rear end accident, in which the bumper and the left quarter panel was replaced. I noticed that the hatch is not properly aligned. there is a gap between the hatch and the roof, and the hatch is hanging off of the rear bumper. Is there any way to adjust the hatch? or could it be a different problem?

The problem is the bumper and the left quarter panel was replaced. Shoddy workmanship.

The solution is to remove the struts and loosen hex nuts on the hinges following up with removing the locking latch now at this point you should have your hatch down and someone to push forward apply pressure to get proper alignment so that you get back inside the car to re-tighten hex nuts on hinges then reassemble you should be OK
