-Driver side ball joint boot torn, not leaking, but I want to replace it.

-Comp rod has SPL solid bushing.

-Likely able to get a comp rod off a 350z at a local salvage yard.

Which would be easier, take the ball joint and boot off another comp rod and install it onto mine? Or, uninstall my SPL bushing and press it into the other comp rod with working ball joint?

How are the boots attached to the comp rods? What problems may I run into?
