first time posting on this forum


I spent the weekend installing a new top on my 04 350z convertible.
the top was from E-Z ON Auto Tops, took me about 10 hours to install.
not to bad would do it again ....

after installing my top I am now having a bit of a problem when opening.

first the lid opens completly and then the top opens about 2/3 of the way at normal speed then slowly opens the last 1/3 of the way, till it slowly opens to a serten point, then it starts back up doing the rest of the top opening routine at nomal speed.

is this becouse of the new top need braking in ?
did I move or disconnect something wile installing?

I had no problems with the top before installing the new canves
