Taking off my lower front control arms and the ball joint bolt spins freely with the bolt. so i cut up the boot and clamped it to get the bolt and lower control arm off. is there anyway to fix this or do i need another steering joint knuckle?

 

you can replace the boot. but since its loose and worn out i'd replace the whole ball joint while i had the control arm out.
