My 03 350 has a hard start and loses power at 3000rpm when pedal to the floor. If I rev the motor in neutral it will backfire sometimes. What could be the issue?

 

No lights on the dash? Like SES or Slip or anything out of the ordinary? Hard start all the time or just when cold or hot? Devil is in the details and you have not given many. Year? Mods? Recent problem or always been there? How long have you owned it? The questions could go on and on.......
