OBD2 Code - P0037 - '03 350z
Hey all, on my way to work this morning, my SES light came on, so I stopped by a friend's house and used his OBD2, and it gave me the code
P0037 - Heated O2 Sensor Heater Control Circuit Low (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
Now, after an hour or so of searching through my350 and google, I haven't found any confirmed fixes... it seems to be caused by many things, like a open or shorted sensor circuit, or a crack in my exhaust, or a bad MAF sensor, or even a bad ECU...
I don't have the money to just replace my O2 sensor and pray it fixes it, and then have to pay to get the ECU replaced as well if the O2 sensor replacement doesn't work... I haven't found any guides online, but I am looking for if anyone knows how I can troubleshoot this? I want to lift the car up sometime this weekend and check for bad wiring, or a dirty sensor (I've seen suggestions to clean it), but I have no idea where to start. I can't make much sense of what pictures I have found (http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...bank042509.gif), so I don't really know where to look or what to look for. If anyone could be of some assistance, I would really appreciate it!
Extra info: The car is completely stock, except for a chargespeed rear and Ings Type E front and sideskirts. Just this past week, I also changed my Manual Transmission Fluid and my Rear Differential Fluid; could that have any effect on this? It's an '03 with about 106k on it.

oddly enough i too ran into a similar problem ...ses light came on right before i pulled into the smog shop. i had the guy check it and he tells me bank 1 sensor 2. before i was running test pipes but switched back to cats for the smog this morning. during the install noticed one of the shields wasnt on the 02 sensor and the white tab was broken (probably while i was removing the sensor i might have broke the white tab). to make the long story short i needed an 02 sensor and purchased one from autozone stock was about 120but they also have a universal one for 60 which i had to get because the stock sensor was a special order and i had to get it done today..slapped it on, unplugged my battery during the install to reset the ecu and bam no more ses light ....took it to the smog station and it passed, not to mention drove it about 100 miles today to see if the light would come back on and nothing .....so my advice would be to check your o2 sensor maybe it could be broken??? sorry for the long post
Thanks for the reply! Yeah, I was looking at this:

I want to check it out and see what it looks like under the car, so I'll probably be doing that this weekend. How's your autozone sensor holding up? Is it the Bosch? I was considering picking one of those up if my sensor is beyond repair.
