Default Clutch slave cylinder

How do I check to see if the clutch slave cylinder is bad. My pedal goes to the floor and stays there until pulled up. I think there is a chance it's my actual clutch as the car has 97000miles. I already posted my main problem, was just wondering if there is a way to rule the slave cylinder out.

Most likely the master , but check the fluid level first. If you see low fluid , check the master and slave for leaks. If not rebuild the master. The rebuild kit is cheap $15 and simple to do , I would also rebuild the slave for the same price , it is even easier. Thee kits are available at www.nissanraceshop.com , talk to Scott

Does your pedal slam to the floor after a certain point or is there still resistance when you push it in? If it slams to the floor it may be a broken clutch pivot ball, I just went through that.

I hit 100k and just changed both the master and slave clutch cylinder and flushed the fluid, rather do it all then just one at a time and possible pay more later. After that, it's like brand new again.

My pedal goes to the floor no resistance and doesn't come back till you pull it up

Also the fluid level is fine. It does need a fluid swap but it has never leaked.

The slave is gone. Replace, refill, bleed.

What year is your car? Sounds like a worn out master cylinder.

As mentioned , the rebuild kits will cost you $30 , and it is your master that is actually bad.
