Default Things that are really aggravating me with the Z

Hey guys,

I have an 07 Solar Orange 350 and ive had it for about 5 months.
After 3 months of having it i kept hearing the Clicking noise when i brake.
Now we have all heard of the axle click. The mechanic at the dealership greased my axles and it stopped for 3-4 days. Now it is back as strong as ever. I dont think he did what you are supposed to do. He did both axles in less than 20 minutes. Its only in my rear driver side. I took the axle out cleaned it up and put anti seize grease on it. Tightened nuts back TIGHT. And that took forever. Braking sockets, ratchets and ALOT of muscle getting that axle nut out. Still clicks.. My dealership is a POS. I've scheduled 4 appointments. Once did nothing. 2nd they forgot to put me in the book. 3rd and 4th They just kind of sent me out the lot saying things like "call us back" "if you hear it again let us know". Overall just terrible. Showed them the PDF and everything. So 1 i have the Axle clicking when i brake. Sometimes it stops for a day or two. But it ALWAYS comes back. Some days its very embarrassing to even stop at a red light. It can be so loud. Sounds like my car is just completely ragged out.

That's my first problem, my second is when i hit a pothole or minor bump i hear a very disturbing rattling noise in my passenger rear. Sounds like a suspension problem. Ive heard things about the hatch but i dont think that is the problem. It almost sounds like a mason jar filled with nails shaking.

Can someone PLEASE help me out here. Im going to schedule a appointment at the Nissan Dealership about 45 minutes from my hometown. Much more bigger. Maybe they can help. I just got the car and all this commotion and racket is just making me hate it.

No, i will not mask the aggravating noises with music.

It may be the parking brake assembly.

the axle click it loader inside the car than outside , if you are standing by the door you can hear it, but from 15 feet away its hardly noticable.

My hatch rattled like hell for years, then i gutted it. I found an extra bolt laying around in the hatch under the plastic. You may have something under the plastic causing the problem.

Your jack and tools are in the right rear corner of your car. Check to see if those are all secured as they should be. I had a rattle and found that I had not secured my jack properly.

I have that same clicking noise I think. I haven't been able to figure it out yet, nor has any mechanic or dealership I've taken it to. If and when you find out please post up results.

Bungee cords work well for the Jack toolkit. Get a long one and wrap them up. That solved my rattling problem.

HA, it came with no tools. Didn't find out till i got the car home. And an empty tank of gas. And when they asked for their 700 extra bucks for down payment i said "Well there will be an issue with that since i have to fix everything that was wrong with the car when i got it and buy used OEM tools that were not provided with my car."

UPDATE: My rear brake caliper & brake pad "Where the noise is coming from when braking." Are very loose i can move the pad and caliper around with my hand. Not just a little either. I took them apart to see if anything was wrong, nothing. Bled it and put everything back on and tightened well. Still loose. So i am def' going to the other nissan dealership as soon as possible. Think this is what is causing the clicking noise?

^That sounds like it would be causing the clicking noise.

Just checked mine and the rear passenger caliper is loose as well. I tried tightening the bolts but even with them as tight as they'll go it's still loose.

Same issue with me. But click is gone. For now. Dealership should fix caliper.
