It's possible. Stock blocks-- I got one for $400 a while back and the other day I saw one for sale for $1000 on Craigslist w close to 100k miles.
A person in s-east had a rev up built for $2500. The planet would be earth that I've seen it at.

And I didn't think insurance would cover it also-especially bc aftermarket is fig they'd say it's your fault and all. But that's Aweswome u got money for it.

I gettin my block built to withstand 650 whp which is basically everything done except sleeves and/or stroker kit because on a circuit track I doubt ill need anything over 500whp. I was also scared because my bp turbo kit has my intake next to my oilpan but it isn't warranty. It's insurance so they gotta cover it. The only hydro lock they don't cover is if its done on purpose, for instance, mudding or insurance fraud. Anyways my budget is gonna b 24k when I get back and the budget is gonna go mostly to paying off the 10k for the car and any other bills like my hibdon tire card that's like $400. Then ima build my block, switch to 06 transmission, bbk (probibly 370z sport package brakes to lessen the price), and anything else I need. Quick question though, u think the jwt clutch can handle anything under 500 ftlbs of tourque? I had that installed before I built the block and don't want to switch.

I wouldn't trust the JWT clutch for 500 tq. It holds my 400tq pretty well but gets upset at the track at times. Get a twin disk at the minimum especially if your building the engine for more boost.

Flood is covered by comprehensive. (I've been an insurance agent in MA for 11 years)
