help. unknown engine sensor
So i bought a Z resently that was wrecked in the front and after having it fixed up i noticed it leaking oil slowly. I end up finding this sensor in front of the engine thats leaking the oil. So i take it off and notice that its broken..half of the metal like tube is snapped off inside while i have the head of it..making it leak. I dont know what the sensor is or whats it called..would like your help on where i can get a new one and what it might be called, and would this be why my service light is on.
Here are some pictures of the sensor.

But for now i just got me some silicon smacked some on the broken area and screwed her back on and no more leak
but thats just for now till i can get new!

Sometimes also called a cam actuator solenoid or something along those lines. Should be available aftermarket, or you can always get one from nissan. They control the flow of oil into the camshaft gear to get the desired advance or retard. What part of it broke? If there is a piece snapped off in the front cover, it may be a bit more complicated than just removing and installing the new one.
