Default Remote Lock

Ive now noticed that when I lock my car, I hear no horn noise, just the lights blink. Anyone know what could cause this?

It sounds like you might have enabled the "silent arm" feature. You can turn this feature on and off by holding down both the lock & unlock button at the same time. It will either honk or flash the parking lights at you to let you know what mode your in....I'm pretty sure that's the process, but check your owners manual to be sure.

Yes it is the silent arm feature and you can turn it on and off w/o knowing it. It is easy to hit both the lock/unlock at the same time. Also, the horn nor the lights flashing won't work with the remote if a door is ajar.

Ok, I have tried hitting the unlock and lock buttons at the same time to turn it back on. Is there another way to do this?
