So my 350z runs great with no problems about 60,000 miles on it. Once in a while when I leave it idling for about 5 minutes or so the check engine light will come on and I'll have to reset it. It never comes on ever for any other reason except after it's been idling. It idles smoothly with no noticeable problems. Does anyone have any idea what could cause this?
I used to have problems with the cold air intake tripping the check engine light but after I replaced the air filter it stopped being a problem. I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Any input would be great. Thanks guys.

 

I would suggest going to a local Autozone or equivalent shop and allow them to pull your code for free to determine what the issue is.
