Default oil pressure gauge hit 120 lbs

Upon morning startup the oil pressure gauge went and stayed at full pressure for about 90 seconds,before droping to normal,no odd sounds or noises were herd.The only other odd engine behavior till now was what sounded like a collasped lifter upon cold start that lasted for10 seconds.Engine has 94,000 trouble free miles. Does this sound like a fimilar malidy cured by replacing oil pressure sensing switch? If so can you direct me to where it's located?
update;
I now see the answer in the 370z colume, should have looked there sooner, common problem.

Mine runs 30lbs higher than a decent aftermarket I installed after my build gave me scary high pressure. I'd have it checked with a mechanical gauge (as I did) just to be sure.
