I was told the rack and pinion on my 2003 350z needs to be replaced. I am having alot of wheel wobbling while driving between 35-60 mph. Have had 3 different techs look at it, and this one found it by luck, by leaning on my rotor and it moved around. I'm trying to find a rack and pinion, I have less than 2 weeks before I have to drive cross country . Any help will be greatly appreciated.

 

Dealer or the Internet? Courtesy Nissan? Google it and can find it.

Autoparts warehouse, very good deal. I got my steering rack rebuilt from A1-cardone from there. 3 year/36,000 mile warranty. High quality rebuild. So far it's been almost a year and no problems..

 

+1 for the rackdoctor. Got mine from there 2 years ago for my 04 drift *****.

Also I would get another opinion. Sounds like a crapped out tierod to me. I've blown out a few of those and that's the main symptom.

 

I don't know where you're located. I have ring /pinion from my 2008 Z. It has less than 10K miles on them.
