Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum so Im sorry if this question may seem dumb but I got my Z a week a ago and I don't really know what's wrong with it. It's an 06 with the vq35DE but I was driving last night and once I hit the 2.5k rpm mark the car just started jerking as if it had a rev limiter, I turned the car off and then back on but it was fine after that. All the research ive done points it towards a bad maf sensor, Id just like to hear your guys' inputs on it since I dont have much experience with this car. Thanks a lot

Sounds like a brake issue. What tail lights do you have ?

The reason I mentioned it, if you hit the brakes and gas at the same time , what you mentioned will happen. Some aftermarket tail lights will cause that
