When my park brake is disengaged, when I am driving, I noticed that the "BRAKE" light comes on. My brakes are working fine and I always take the park brake off. Could it be that the brake fluid is low? or something more serious?? Please offer some answers to this issue. Thanks

 

Could be low fluid (very likely). Could also be worn pads, improperly adjusted e-brake cable, bad switch on e-brake (not as likely).

 

My brake light would come on at WOT, replaced the pads, hasn't came back.

Check your pads, fluid, etc..

 

Had the same problem when either moving fast or hard deceleration.

Fluid was low after a few years. Just fill it back up to normal level and the light will disappear.

 

Definitely sounds like it could be brake fluid related or possibly your pads.

 

its the brake fluid, just top it off. same thing happened to me.
