Question Flooring it in first gear - feel a hitch in the giddy-up?

350Z touring, manual shift - When I floor it in 1st gear, I feel a little hiccup for a brief second. Maybe around 4000 rpm's, then immediately it's gone as you climb to 4500 rpm's. Don't know if it has something to do with all those sensors, or what?

Anyone else have this? Is this part of some anti-slipping (or something) chip that clicks in under fast acceleration?

Do you mean the DBW system? The DBW system definitely has a short lag time in throttle response...

John,
What is the DBW system? I can't find any reference to it in our owners manual. Thanks.
