Default Brief loss in power on acceleration

2004
145k

Ok going to try and explain this best as I can

symptom: when driving in any gear if I am just slightly accelerating it'll briefly loose power, feedback is noticed but no drop in rpm. It feels similiar to when taction control kicks in. Under full throttle it's no issues, It's only when I am just barely accelerating or at a cruising speed. I had it in cruise control once and the cruise control kicked off cuz of the loss in power. Weird!

Nissan diagnosed it as running lean in bank 1 due to bad spark plugs. Pulled spark plugs and replaced all. Still issue.

No CEL OR SES

Any suggestions on what I can check.

That's the crazy part, At WOT it's not an issue. I don't want to start replacing sensors if that's not the issue because the start to add up. I wish it would throw a CEL so I would know but I am clueless.

I know what you mean about,no CEL,what do you look for?
Since you checked your plugs, have a lean reading on one bank,I'd
guess it was a sensor.Either a cam position sensor or,a crank sensor.
I'd start with the cam sensor. These intermitent problems("blip" or
miss when you are running your car)have been around ever since
fuel injection was put in cars.Earlier cars had management systems
that used a fuel relay module. You had this kinda problem, pop the hood,
take out the relay, put another one in.That was it.Its gotten more complex
nowadays.Check the cam sensor on the bank running lean.Maybe just
replace it and see what happens.

Mine does something similar. I can't recreate it all the time. I thought mine was spark plugs but I read should replace around 100k and I'm only at 50k. I don't drive it a lot if that means anything. Never had an issue when its completely warmed up to temp mostly in the first couple accels from my street etc. It like stumbles for a second.

^I was going to look into the cam and crank sensor but oh buddy are they expensive but if the bank 1 is lean perhaps I can just replace that one. I hear that sensor wont throw a CEL which sucks. But I will start with that

^^ I believe you should see the SES light if the camshaft position sensor is malfunctioning.

Ok cool so I will first try cleaning the crankshaft sensors then go from there. Appreciate the info fellas.

Update:

Replaced both Camshaft sensors. Total cost 140bux. Advanced auto, factory was overpriced. So far so good, no more loss in power. Car drives like a boss. And FYI, I never got a CEL. Perhaps a cleaning would have been good but replacing always best IMO.
