I have an issue that I hope someone has dealt with before. In the morning when I went to my car, the key fob was completely dead. I figured it was the battery, so I just unlocked the car with the key and got in. As soon as I unlocked the car manually, the key fob started working again. When I got to work and locked my car...no issues.

When I came back out a few hours later, the fob was not working again. I manually unlocked the driver side door and it started working again. I can reproduce this over and over again. All I have to do to get the key fob working for a little while is unlock the door by hand.

Has anyone seen this before?

Try a new battery. If your battery is close to dead you would have to get real close for it to work. Batteries are only a few bucks any way.
