Exhaust Rust
I hadn't noticed it before, since it's so low to the ground but there's some rust on the muffler. Or is this a collector of some kind? Resonator?
Anyways, the dealer said that it was "surface" rust and they won't repair/replace it. I checked, and it is indeed only surface. Question is; How do I remove it and then prevent it from happening again?

Another option is I got a OEM exhaust I took off my 350Z you can buy. I took it off with about 500 miles on the car so it is basically brand new. I will see lit cheap. I will be out in your area in a few weeks, might be an easy thing to do/no shipping. PM if interested....

Cheapest fix, wire brush then rust-proof spraypaint.
Easiest fix, buy an OEM muffler off of this marketplace or Craigslist then bolt it on.
And FWIW, the pic is upside-down when I click it.
