Default very stumped fuse keeps blowing in the IPDM

So the car wouldn't start the other day. it cranks but doesn't start. i thought maybe the fuel pump blew cause i coudn't hear it turn on when i put the car on ON. I ended up putting in a new battery cause the other one died cause i cranked it so much. when I had the battery out I looked at the IPDM fuses and noticed that the fuse for, its either called IGN CNTRL or ENG CNTRL & ECCS was blown. I replaced the fuse and the car started right up. I did some errands and at one of the errands when I went to back up the car it would start to go and then stall and won't start like before. The fuse blew again. i replaced it and backed up again. same thing happened. once i start to go forward its fine after putting in a new fuse. once i got home i went to back into my space and it happened again. so now its sitting there. I thought maybe there was water in the reverse lights but they're dry. I'm stumped. Has anyone else had this problem? I don't know what the ECCS stands for.
Any help would be appreciated.

You may have to replace th IPDM itself seeing it may be shorted! I have the same thing happening to my interior light in my BCM. You can fid several used ones on eBay or slidgegood!

Keep us up to date!

Check your ipdm for shorts and trace the wires. Another member was having issues when backing up and it was related to the brake light assembly/ reverse light. Check the wires in the hatch that go to third brake light. G35 have known to over time short the wire in the rear trunk / hatch. i would be checking each wire for continuity and see if you can trace the short. It might be the ipdm or it might be the wiring within the car. Grab a FSM and multimeter along with lots of beerz.

The car is a manual so its not the reverse lights. The car doesn't stall till I take my foot off the clutch and start to move then it dies. Unfortunately we just got a snowstorm and today we are getting rain. So tom ill experiment with the car. Anymore suggestions would be great.

the first thing i will do is swap the sylvania bulbs out for factory bulbs. my friend is going to look on the all data computer at his work and see what that fuse controls.

So i readt the FSM and it shows the fuse that keeps blowing is #81 in the IPDM. the fuse goes to the fuel Pump relay then to the Fuel level sensor unit and fuel pump. so it looks like i need to pull the pump out and clean it. when i fill the tank it doesn't go all the way to the top of the gas gauge.

FIXED!!!!
ok so first of all the 2004 FSM is not the same as the 2003. The diagram for the IPDM does not match. so the whole time the fuse was for the MAF sensor. Well I took a look at it and found that when i installed my CAI i had the MAF sensor wires against the strut bar and body of the car and the wires got chafed and were grounding out only when i put the car in reverse. because the engine twists in a diff direction then when it goes forward. so the whole time this happened was because of my install. I wrapped the wires with electrical tape and pointed the MAF towards the ground. The car drives fine and doesn't blow the fuse anymore. smack head.
