So a recently bought a 07 with 30k and upgrades include Stillen intakes, injen exhaust, and stillen struts. I've searched on here for the last few days and can't find an answer. help!
So the problem is I took the car to nissan last week when my clutch pedal dropped half way down and I had to pull it up with my foot. Nissan said they drove it for 8 miles and thats within Nissan's standards for the car. So I went to Forged (amy was great) and they told me to go to another dealer and sew.about the

The clutch and flywheel really should be on you, because the problem with the CSC is hydraulic (and covered by the recall), and the clutch/flywheel are subject to normal mechanical wear and tear (not covered by any recall or warranty). I suppose you could request that those original parts not be replaced, but if it were me, I'd be happier paying for the new parts while the car is apart, knowing I've saved the labor costs later.

At least you're getting the the CSC replaced.
As far as staying with stock or aftermarket, it really depends on what you plan on doing with the car. If you're tracking or dragging it often, I'd look into aftermarket. Otherwise, stock is just fine, and the dual mass flywheel helps with smoother engagement. One thing to note though is the price of a stock flywheel. It ranges from about $800 to over $1k. Maybe you could stick with a stock clutch and go aftermarket with the flywheel.

It will be a daily street car, no drag or racing. If that's the case would the JWT OR EXEDY not be a better solution? ( just worried about blowing csc again due to upgraded clutch kit). Cause I can't find the OEM clutch online either. Anyone have any experience with the jwt or exedy or concept kits with OEM csc and master?
P.s. They said the flywheel is prob fine. I was just saying flywheel change if I get the jwt kit since its only 775 for everything and everyone on here says to change both out or else ill end up doing it later.

Exedy and JWT are solid brands, so I read and hear. If you go with an aftermarket pressure plate, get the Heavy Duty CSC from Conceptz:

Everyone's been going with that and having great results (meaning no failures). The stock CSC is a bit weak, so I hear.
One thing to warn is of the chatter associated with aftermarket clutch/flywheels. The stock dual mass dampens the chatter, while getting an aftermarket one will increase it and make it more noticeable. Some people don't mind while others hate it. It seems that the heavier aftermarket flywheel have less chatter. Try checking into conceptz's website on their flywheels. Otherwise, JWT and Exedy clutches are fine...Stage 1 I'm guessing would be similar to stock.
