Default Broke a stud that held up a shield behind the passenger rear tire

While under my car last night, I saw a loose bolt and started to tighten it, but then it stopped halfway and broke off the stud. I holds what looks like to be a shield of some sort, now its just hanging down slightly. Any ideas on how to fix it asap? Z is my daily and I head out on the freeways often and I don't exactly feel comfortable with this loose.

EVAP canister shield that protects it from road debris and maybe heat from the muffler. You just secure it until you have the means to drill the stud out.

Thank you for the very fast reply! I knew I shouldn't have taken that shield completely off or ride around with it like that. Any advice on drilling it out?
