rebuilding VQ
I am really confused and need some input on what would be my best option.
I am on a budget so i'm not trying to fork over serious amounts of cash, but i recently picked up a VQ35 to re-build to put into my G35 that is currently burning oil like no other. The oil consumption is pissing me off so i'm just going to go with a new motor..
but my main concern is how i should build it. I honestly want around 300-375whp and i will be happy. I do daily drive the car and i want it reliable as possible. would i just be best off shooting for 300whp and keeping it NA or doing FI and shooting for around 350whp.
also since im only shooting for the 300whp area do i need to build my block with anything special or is stock block just fine as far as compression ration and pistons/rods and all that..?
let me know guys! i have been doing a lot of research and just can't get a grasp on what i want to do!

use this https://my350z.com/forum/search.php or diaf any amount of searching at all or just reading **** not even a week old you would have known you would be told off. or i suppose you figured you would get a different answer not posting in the FI section?
and stock VQs (DE block) will take 450whp…so if you are staying below 400whp then just go with a OEM internal setup. Consider a supercharger or small turbo kit (either now or down the road) and you'll get to your 350 to 375whp and no problem.
add a oil cooler to your current build list, especially if you are going FI at some point...
