DOES THIS REALLY LOOK LIKE IT WILL LAST? Seriously?

It de-centers the seals, then it sloshes oil around the actual seals because the tube is not correctly tensed into the rubber.

Not only that, it costs $120. Trying to save $180 by putting 3 extra hours of work into a dismembered MAINTENANCE ITEM, instead of a new part that costs 300 from the factory is just dumb.

 

Where is the info link to that pic? Is that from someones diy or a replacement from rnd? The only issue I see is the center seal is a bit misaligned but that coulda jus been from the person doing a bad hole saw job.
