Default 2004 350z Oil Pressure Question

I recently purchased a used, two owner, 2004 350Z with only 58,000 miles. The car is in like new condition. I had the car inspected which confirmed my assessment of the vehicle.

While driving, I notice the oil pressure ranges from 30 to 85/90 psi. This range incorporates idle to high rpms. Is this a normal range?

Thanks.

Paul

Thank you terrasmak. I really appreciate the feedback.

Since my son doesn't turn 16 for another 45 days, I'm having a blast driving the Z. I also own an 07 G35 sedan which is also a great car.

Thanks again!

16 is way too young to have one of these. My first car was a 94 wrangler that I bought and maintained myself. I just sold it last year and bought a 06 z myself. You gotta let kids buy their own cars so they learn to appreciate what they have.

There's almost zero chance a 16-year-old will have the maturity and experience to drive a 350Z without a LOT of grief. You've made a bad choice, but you've got some time to correct it.

A civic would've probably been best, but that's cool man.I was drifting in my pops 5.0 5-speed Mustang when I was 10 so if you think your son is capable then by all means. Have fun driving the car around, and ground him and take away the car whenever you want to cruise in it.

Giving your 16 year old son a high powered sports car? This is gonna be good. I'm grabbing my popcorn to see how this turns out.

I'm sure if he didn't trust his son he wouldn't be giving it to him. I was 16 and my father bought me a 95 R33 GTS Skyline while we were living in Germany. Wrecked it two years later like an idiot and he never bought me another vehicle again.

I also agree with the rest of the members giving your son a Z at 16 is the wrong choice this car has to much ***** for him> if I were you I would re think this choice....why don't you get him a civic ex that why you will sleep better and we will too.
