Exclamation Is there a way?

is there a way to manually raise our windows? idk if this is possible I ordered a new motor but my window is all the way down and cant move it and its starting to snow.

Unfortunately, no. Might want to start cutting out some cardboard or plexiglass until you get the motor replaced.

This is probably not the answer you were hoping for but I think you could disconnect the old motor (which you will have to do anyways), then raise the window up and tape it to hold it.

I read somewhere else that you can take the old window motor off and then manually ratchet the female connector in the spindle to raise it?

Yep. If you take off the motor you can use a 3/8th ratchet. I've done it many times.

sweet thank you! does the hole on the spindle line up to a hole on the metal panel or do I have to make a new hole to stick the ratchet through?

If the window motor is not completely dead and still works at least some of the time, try hitting the door with your fist where the window motor would be as you hold up on the window switch. That'll sometimes get the window motor going. That's what I did in between cleanings until I finally just replaced the damn thing.

I def tried that for a good 5 min but it would barely come on only going down and nothing going up then finally the thing just didnt budge at all. This is my last resort to manually raise it as its my dd

This. bang the inside (knock) with the switch down and when you can grab it with the door open pull it up.
