Default RJM Pedal, Transmission fluid changed, Hard to get in gear

So over the winter I bought and installed the RJM pedal adjusted it etc worked good got the sweet spot I liked and called it a day.

I got my transmission fluid on Tuesday because from when I got my car I could tell not much maintenance was done so got that changed to make sure Nissan used the right fluid I ask them what they used, they said GL4 so I left, drove straight home about a 5 minute drive.

They also did an alignment while I was there because I put on SPC camber arms.

I took the car out tonight I haven't driven it since I got home Tuesday, the car is hard to get into first gear if I'm just dead stop with the clutch all the way in. When I down shift 4>3 or 3>2 its also hard to get into.

This was not happening before I had the transmission fluid changed but they used the proper fluid so they say so I'm gonna check it wasn't over filled after the weekend I hope that's the issue and not my 2003 transmission crapping out.

Is there anything else that may be causing my issue?

I was also thinking maybe my RJM pedal is adjusted wrong but I checked the instructions and everything is correct.

You really cant overfill 350z transmissions unless the car was filled on uneven pavement. I doubt nissan used anything other than a 2 post lift, which would not raise the car uneven, causing too much fluid.
The only thing that would prevent a transmission from going into gear is the engagement of the clutch.
When its stopped, can you hear the clutch release when you push the clutch in? do the revs dip slightly when you let the clutch out in neutral or does the car not make any noise/rev changes when you press/depress the clutch at all? in a healthy car, the dragging of the clutch being engaged to the flywheel will slow the RPMs for a second, and you will hear the clutch spinning, as opposed to when the clutch is in and all you hear is engine noise.
I am not at all personally familiar with this RJM pedal so if there was anything there causing the issue, i would have no idea.

Pholicious, I have no explanation for why it suddenly felt much different after the fluid change but if the pedal is adjusted correctly for complete clutch disengagement you shouldn't have difficulty getting into first at any time while stopped. If you are getting resistance into first or reverse on occasion I'd raise the clutch rod adjustment about 1/4 to 1/2 turn outwards (counter clockwise when facing the pedal) to see if it clears up completely. Sounds like its set right on the edge of not passing the disengagement tests found on the last page of the RJM install guide. Give that a try and you should be good to go.

Nissan changed my fluid and less than 100 miles later they have to replace my tranny. Hope you dont have the same problem.

I followed those instructions when I set my pedal it was after the fluid that I had the problem.

The very first time I took the car out I had to make an adjustment but after that it was fine until I took my car out after the new transmission fluid.

I was driving around all night yesterday and everything is great so I don't understand but guess I'll have to wait and see.
