anyone gotten their rim straightened?
Like most folks, i try to be as careful as possible around curbs and pot holes. After 9K miles, i have 2 small size curb scrapes on my Track rims. While i don't notice any bends to my rims on visual inspection, when i jacked up the front wheels and spin them by hand, i notice the conture of lips on my rims aren't perfectly round. which makes my think that i should send them to wheel repair shops for straightening. Any suggestions? (any recommendation for shops in So Cal?)
Try wheel america. When I use to drive Acura TL-S, I had SSR GT1 and I had one of rims little bent & scraped and they fix it. It cost $109 regardless of what the damage is. They are located in Stanton, CA which is right next to Garden Grove in Orange County. Here is their number

$125 to $150 to straighten bent chrome wheels.
I have yet to find a place that says they can fix a Volk rim back to standards. The problem is that they can fix the rim shape but cannot guarantee clear coating it back to factory so the shine would look different that factory. I assume that would be the same problem for most of these aftermarket wheels esp. ones with lips.
