Default Radiator/Hose coolant leak issue

Hey guys I need some help. The other day my car started overheating to the point where idle was really rough and I stalled out multiple times to where I had to push my car into a parking lot and pop the hood for 30 minutes to cool down. I look under my car and see steam and coolant making a nice puddle beneath it. The coolant resovoir looked like it was going to boil over.. Its weird because I drove it there after and the temperature stabilized as normal. I cant imagine if I maybe just need to replace the radiator and or hoses?

How many miles are on your z? Seems odd for sure for this issue to just start. But sounds like it could very well be a hose issue if you see a puddle.

Try to locate where it'd dropping from and how low your coolant level is. I wouldn't drive it until its foxed because you will cause internal damage if you drive when the engine is overheated

I am just coming up on 35k miles. It was like the radiator was kicking fluid back into the reservoir, so that it was over the full line. Its more likely that it would be a hose.. radiators don't just give out.. do they? But yeah its just common sense not to drive it.

Air in your coolant system... Burp the system and you will be fine. You probably have a crack in a hose somewhere large enough to let air in and no fluid out.

I hope that is all it is. Couldn't it be possible that it is a bad thermostat or gasket?
Thanks for the feed back.

Reviving an older thread. Did you ever confirm the issue you were having. I was having a similar issue on my 03 w/ 134K miles. Upon examining it look like I had a leak between the core and the upper radiator tank(where fill cap is).
My question is does anyone know if you can just replace the seal or am in need of a new radiator?
