Maybe you guys could give me some suggestions
I have a 2004 350z auto that "Cuts out" while im driving on the freeway if I turn on my high beams. Engine loses power, dash lights cut out and everything immediately comes back on and the transmission is stuck in whatever gear It was in when i turned on my high beams originally until I park the car and shut it off. Sometimes after this I cant restart my car at all, when I put the key in and turn it to acc the red brake light and oil light come on but when I turn the key .. nothing. If I let it sit for awhile it will start up no problems. I have a new battery as well (as of 2 days ago) that has a resting voltage of 12.8 and when the car is running its over 14.

Interestingly enough my wife was in a fender bender 6 months ago and I thought the damage was only cosmetic but the edge of the drivers front wheel well is not perfectly aligned with the bumper. I think this may have some involvement given high-beam symptom. I haven't pulled the wheel well cover off yet. Do you guys have any other ideas? Should I check the highbeam fuses/relays by the battery. What else could this be? I dont want to have to go to the dealership$$$$

Look for some pinched wires under the fender liner on the impact side. Might be a partial short to ground, which might drop the system voltage enough to kill the car. What do your voltage readings show at the battery when you turn on the high beams? You might also have your alternator checked. Many auto parts stores will do it for free.
