Default Hit a skunk, headlight problem

Ya I was headed home the other night and bam! Skunk murdered. Hit it with the driver side. It ripped my whole fender liner out. Literally the whole thing. Now I notice moisture in my headlight and my lobeam doesbt work. My brights are fine. What would/should I be looking for to fix this.

Thanks guys!

Good to see you are in Georgia, as well

I say replace the headlight. its not too expensive. If you see moisture and low beam doesnt work, I wouldnt bother to fix it.

You can find one on the forum or replace both from Ebay units for $150.

I hit a dead raccoon before and it ripped off my whole rear bumper when I was down in the boonies. I ran down the road and grapped my license plate, drove home lol

Haha what part of ga? I'm in Mansfield so its the boonies for sure. I don't really want to replace yet, simply because I want to upgrade later down the road to the newer headlights

And what ya think it could be old school?

Make sure the round plastic cover behind the head light is nice and secure.

I live in lawrenceville ga. North east area.

I was down in south east part of georgia and got lost on an old high way. I was looking at my navigation and didn't see a raccoon. I felt little bump and heard BOOM!!!!

it was ugly lol I had blood all over my exhaust and smelled pretty bad from dead flesh.

Ok so I finally got a pic. This is the only thing I can see that is ripped. Anyone know what this specific wire is or where it goes? And how can I fix that

That's some scary looking wiring. Wire nuts are not the way to go.

If you don't already have a new fender liner, buy one from rockauto.com - about 1/3 dealer price.

Thank you for killing the skunk, sorry about your Z. My Dog's got sprayed by a whole family of skunks... I loath them!

That broken braided cable may be your ground. Tie the two ends back together, and see what happens. Failing that, check all those other connections, but do them one-by-one, so as not to make matters worse and forget where they all go. Not sure if HID bulbs can be harmed by an impact, but that may be another possibility. Be methodical and logical with your troubleshooting, and you'll have your answer.
