Default Air Conditioning Problem!!! If anyone knows anything :( HELP "AC AMPLIFIER?

okay. i will make this quick.

i bought the car with a turbonetics kit on kit. from day one the ac was crap. after about a week the ac was gone.

- have everything under the hood wrapped to the t.

- i have replaced everything on my car that needed it for the ac to work again
-compressor
-expansion valve
-dryer
-evaporator

-the system holds a charge but the ac wont blow cold air.

-the compressor clutch kicks on but the air in the cabin is still hot?

i was told that it might be a faulty compressor by my mechanic?

any other ideas. i really dont want to have to take the turbo kit off for the 5th time for this dang ac. even though im getting really fast at it. i would still have to remove all the engine bay charge piping the down pipe and the turbo to get to the compressor. either way, i was just looking for some insight.

-I WAS WONDERING IF THE AC AMPLIFIER COULD CAUSE THE AIR TO NOT BE COLD?

-it just doesnt make sense. i removed the dash to put in a new expansion valve, does the temperature sensor on the dash have anything to do with the ac?

the ac amplifier can cause the air not to be cold. While I was replacing the headunit I accidentally tore the white ribbon plug that is attached to it and it would only blow hot air (huge pain in the *** till I got a new one). My guess would be to check to make sure that white ribbon/plug has no tears

^ yes, that can be a cause....the part your describing is called the uni-meter and yes if the white thin ribbon isnt connected it wont work...so yes, if its torn or damaged then its will blow on high only and NOT cold..

search uni-meter on here...its in the factory service manual...

try another one?

You might want to check if the cabin temp sensor plug in front of your right knee (behind the board) was unplugged~
If the thin white ribbon was not plugged and u ignited the engine then the Engine Service Indicator will stay on forever until u do a reset. Since u didn't mention your ESI stays on i guess the sensor plug is what u have to check first.
Hope this helps, good luck.
