With my car, it was worth 12500 when totaled. They said it had about 8500 in damages, so I ended up buying my car back for 4000. If its not totaled, its a perfect time to upgrade those head lights and hood to the 06+.

I've done it before except it was on a geo metro and a kia sephia. The salvage value was less than $100 on both (this was about 7-8 years ago), so I just fixed it myself. If they do total it you could essentially get all cf parts for what they are going to pay you.

that's probably 5-7k of damage. no airbag deployment? I bet they fix it

also, once the title is branded, I hope you'll cherish it forever or make it a race car, the resale is GONE

Sadly enough, a chunk of concrete about the size of a basketball fell off a dumptruck on the freeway right in front of me and went under my car! That was almost $8000 in damages. I look at it this way though... My insurance hates me but I had close to $15000 in work done to an 03 AND I got lots of upgrades out of the deal thanx to latromi (our resident Nissan GOD) and Clear Lake Nissan.

Hope everything gets cleared up for you. Just steer clear of dump trucks for the next 3 months!

Thanks

Update**
It ended up being just over 7K before the body shop got to look at it and they added about 2k more and the insurance company still paid for it...
I tried talking (arguing) with my insurance agent about the value of an accident free title for a long time to no avail...
I had the shop paint the entire car and it looks great they removed every panel and reset all gaps and looks better than when i got it...
Unfortunately they still have it...
Went back today to pick it up and everything was done and looked great except they never replaced the damaged tire...
After pictures soon... They say Monday now...

TBH, you got pretty lucky.
I grew up in south alabama and I've seen some nasty deer collisions.

Friend hit a deer in an almost brand new F250 and totaled it from so much damage. Given it was a big deer.

And my cousin was ejected from his car when he hit a deer at about 80mph.

Those deer don't play.

Serious question....does the deer die after those hits elsewhere in the forest?

Hopefully you get the amount you're asking to upgrade to that 370.

I don't think you'll get it that only because of the accident, diminished the value a bit
