hi guys my fiancee owns a 03' z with roughly 107k on the ticker,and its having an issue cranking over. You have to crank it about 3-4 times before she finally kicks over. Once she kicks shes running like a champ. it seems to only do it when we first start the car and when its sat for a little bit. Are the early models notorious for this? I am relitively new to the z. Shes been actually idling it then turning it off like you would a rotarty. any help?

 

Symptoms of a bad fuel pressure regulator, or maybe leaking injectors (not likely).

 

i was thinking maybe pump was starting to go bad?

 

That's possible too.

 

a friend said a possible crank censor. but i dont really see how that would go with the symptoms showing... any thoughts to that?
