Maintainance on 10 year old car low miles
What maintenance would a 2003 350z require that has only 19k miles? I found one that I might buy and went to a mechanic and asked him what maintenance I would be looking at soon for this car. He told me he cant tell me unless he sees the car which is understandable, but he said it doesnt have a timing belt, it has a chain, so i don't have to worry about that. If it has stock tires, which it does, they might be rotting so those might need to be changed.
What do you guys think? What would be rotting or need to be replaced soon. It was always garaged and hardly driven. Never seen rain.
Also what would each of these repairs cost me? If it ends up being too much, I think it would be better to get a newer year that is a little more money.

that car would be immaculate for only 19k miles and it was a garage queen. New tires depends on what you get, i paid 550 with rebate for four hankook v12s all stock size front and rear and new belts are less than 50 dollars, I would see if you could go with the owner to a mechanic and have it checked out, if the owner wont do that with you, dont buy the car

Don't think you can buy for that price now.
I have a 2003 with 37,000 miles.
I'll bet the only immediate item might be the battery, if it hasn't been replaced.
I would also do the rear diff and, if 6MT, the trans fluid. Neither of those is difficult and I did both at about that mileage to opt for better fluids.
Check the rubber gaskets- as around the doors, and hit them with some silicone spray.

19k miles there shouldn't be any problems honestly. Maintenance wise I would do the fluids like Z'd said just for good measure. Tires probably will need to be replaced, I would definitely check to see if they have good tread and if they're cracking or not before I replace them though. If they're not cracking you should be fine. Also a battery would probably be needed. How much are they asking for? An 03 is fairly old if you were to get it now..

Look up the maintenance book online and look for your mileage range then perform the needed maintenance. That's what I did with my 03 when I bought it at 21k miles last spring.
I doubt you will have to do very much to the car. I own a 2003 with 23,000 miles on it. I have owned it for 10 years on July 1 and it has been a garage queen all these years. I do nothing special other than normal maintenance.
