Default 350z water leak... please help

Hello everyone , i was wondering if anyone can give me some tip...

i have this strange leak issue , the water seems to be coming into the car near the tweeter area NOT from outside , but from inside of the rubber weatherstrip that seals the window - when I look inside the weatherstrip (using hands to pry it) , i see the silver metal bracket that goes around the weatherstrip , and there is water in there...

do you guys think that this is due to my exterior a pillar leaking ? (as per some threads i read here) or is it more to do with windshield "seal" leaking ? (ie. when somebody installed new windshield they didn't seal it properly using glue or whatnot , i dont know..)

I bought a used Z so i dont know the whether windshield was replaced or not...

this is picture to show where i found the water.

Please help me !!!

Can you let me know where the drain is ?

Yes , the window closes all the way - i also recently reset the window motor so it goes down the inch bit and seals afte when i close the door.

Oh another thing is , it is doing it on both driver side and passenger side , not just one side...

Any solution to this leakage? It rained here in Cali for a bit and I've got a bit of water leak that I would like to track down.

Wiggle your sideview mirrors. Are they loose? The bolts that hold on to them will undo themselves eventually. They don't use threadlock on nylock on the factory bolts, which they SHOULD have done. Take off the door panels, remove the sail panels, undo each mirror nut one at a time, use blue threadlock, and tighten them snugly. My car leaked water at the touch-free carwash until I did this (it also made a flopping noise over bumpy roads). After I tightened everything down, the problem never came back.

I tried wiggling the side mirrors and there were no free play.
Thank you for the response, though!
