Default 2004 350z Roadster storage

Hello all. I've been gone a long time but I'm glad to still see so much activity on these forums.

I'm planning an extended trip out of the country for +4 months. I would love advice on how to properly store my 350z roadster. I will keep it under a car port (cover over head and sides, but not a fully enclosed garage). I have the following ideas:

– use car cover (OEM, Wolf, or California Cover from my research here)
– disconnect battery (positive, negative, or both?)
– put car on jack stands (I own 2 and can purchase 2 more. Is there a graphic that displays best placement?).

I would love feedback on these ideas and any other suggestions (drain oil?).

Thank you!

Gas tank needs to be as full as possible.

I always:

-Disconnect negative battery terminal
-Put fuel additive then fill gas tank
-Start it up and drive every once in a while
