You did a great job on this; very clever idea! I think it would be good to add an at least 2" high piece/block flush with the top end and running side to side on the highest level so as to feel that you have reached the end like regular ramps; otherwise if you count wrong or space out on an early morning project, it wouldn't be too nice to have the front wheels drop over the top end.

Thanks, I have a spare 2'x3' mirror which I place on garage wall to get a view of ramps.

But I think I am going to use your suggestion and add some stops

I've been using the Blitz Rhino Ramps 8000 for a few years now. They work great with my Z and it is lowered by about an inch, just clears the ramp. They are low profile ramps made of a composite material. I have seen them locally for around $50.00 but that was some time ago. Here they are on Amazon:

+1

And it sucks *****.. It's the worst part of any oil change.

I'm not even lowered either.

Next mod for sure is buying some ramps, but if I can't find them over here I may use your guys' plywood ideas. What did you use to put the wood together? Nails, screws?

I've got some good regular ramps, but nowadays the car is pretty low; want to get some race ramps, but they are expensive! I like the fairly light weight of the plastic ramps I have, but would like affordable/low profile ones, any suggestions before I have to head to Home Depot for ramp stuff? I guess I just may make some wooden ones like ^above. The ones that Advan33 showed look nice too.

Since I got the Z speed under shroud I no longer have to remove all those small bolts. however all those were removed after the car was put on the ramps ( oil plug next to the bolts would be a good indication).
