Default P0301, plug was fouled

Pulled this code a week ago. just now got the time to pull the plug and coil and start looking. The plug was fouled when i pulled it. Went and bought a new one, put it in and started. All codes were cleared. ran fine for three minutes then started missing again. Haven't pulled the codes yet again, since i don't have a reader. should have one in a few hours. Anyways, pulled out the new plug and of course it smelled of unburnt fuel... Any ideas where to go now. Also i changed the plugs about 15000 miles ago, which was about two years ago. need any other info just ask.

Need a ton more info. Mileage on car. Run a compression test. Swap the injector on that cylinder with another and see if the issue moves to another cylinder or stays.

Can also swap the coil. Make sure its a different one from the injector to isolate the problem.
