Exclamation rear of 350z swaying

The back of my 350z feels like it's moving side to side at low speeds, and once above 40 or so it straightens out, but at 70 there's still a slight sway and vibration. I took it in to the dealership about 3 months ago and was told the control arm bushings are worn, and the rear shocks need to be replaced. Would worn control arm bushings cause the rear of the car to feel like its shimming side to side?

I haven't been on any Z forums since the late 90's when I had my 87 Z, so hopefully I can shake the rust off .

i had a similar problem recently. mine would sway on the interstate (65mph+). wasn't real noticeable at any speed under that. ended up being a wheel bearing..

This is mainly at lower speeds, but at higher speeds there is still side to side movement, just not quite as bad. At 5-30 mph the side to side movement was so bad that I pulled over to tighten my lug nuts thinking one of my wheels was about to come off. Then I thought that one of the tires might have a bubble in it, but I checked them all and found no bubbling on the tire.

Wouldn't hurt to check wheel bearings just to rule it out.

It could be a bushing, I had the eccentric bolt come loose on my rear control arm and it would sway a bit in corners ..

Ended up that the tire tread separated from the steel belt and the tire lost all of its structure. Thanks for the suggestions.
