I just have 2007 350z convertible but I have some issues with it. The gas tank button does not work. I checked the cables and the motor which releases the door and it seems to be fine. The actual button seems fine since I checked the electrical side of it however still, the gas tank door just won't open. Also, the trunk release button in the back above the license plate does not work. Is it possible these two issues are related? Any thoughts on what the issue is? I should also note that I bought this car as a salvaged vehicle. It had some flood damage. Could the issues because of that?

 

alright, I get to ask a stupid question…are you trying to unlock/unlatch while the car is locked?

 

Bad/shorted BCM

 

Maybe the gas tank door isn't aligned properly, and its not popping up properly. Have someone try opening the door while you're constantly clicking the release button. If ur friend can pull it open, then u may need to play with, and realign the door. If its not that, then it's probably the BCM like KingBaby stated.

 

Is it possible ? may be ECM.. Because keyless entry doesn't work and I can not program it (I m %100 sure I follow right way to program it and I replace battaries)
