So I have noticed something weird and not sure if it's normal or not..

When I am driving 65ish mph in 6th gear, and I suddenly floor it, the car like hesitates and acts like its running on it's "tippy toes". Thats the best way i can explain it lol. It does that for a few seconds then it finally starts to go.

Also happens if I am going like 35mph and floor it in 4th gear, etc..

Is this a sign of a clutch starting to wear out because it's just not grabbing like it should?

sounds like slipping clutch.

When it goes "tippy toes" is it revving up but not speeding up? That's a sign of a slipping clutch. The effect should be more the higher gear you are in.

 

No thats the thing, the revs aren't shooting up so thats one little thing that makes me think it could be something other than clutch. It kinda just sits there and almost like its choking up for a second, then starts accelerating.. i'll see if i can get a video of it.
