Does one have to recet ECU after exhaust install?

Quick question yo. Do we really need to reset the ECU after an exhaust install? I don't see how resetting ECU would effect exhaust.

I would just for peace of mind. I had my agency power installed and my mechanic reset the ecu.

I didn't ask why but just makes sense.

Not a bad idea. Just disconnect the battery while installing the exhaust and afterwards reconnect it.
