So my driveway is sloped and every time I get in my car it is flashing the dte warning at me ... I want to turn the warning off, but I think I may have a problem with the guage.. the other day I got in the car and started it up and as usual, the dte warning flash was on.... The number of miles it was flashing was 166.... I actually had a half a tank, but the guage read almost empty and the low fuel light beside it was on too..... After I got it out of the driveway and drove it for awhile (loooong while), it finally read half a tank like it should..... I think my guage isn't reading right. anybody else have this problem? Anything I should check? Just got the car a couple of months ago so while it doesn't seem normal to me, maybe it is.... If it is, I would love to know if there is a way to kill the dte warning on the triple guage....
